What is Event Karo?
Event Karo is our first-party team for cooking, catering, planning, décor, helpers, and rentals in Lahore. The same platform also lists independent vendors in the Marketplace.
Quote vs order — which should I use?
Request a quote when you need a custom plan or price (typical for planners and caterers). Place an order / use the cart when packages or menu items have clear prices (typical for cooks).
Is a booking confirmed when I submit?
Not yet. Soft bookings and quotes wait for the provider to accept. You’ll get a notification when they confirm or decline. Many teams also follow up on WhatsApp.
How do I track my request?
Sign in as a client and open Account → Quotes or Bookings. Keep the same phone/email you used when requesting.
I am a vendor — how do I list?
Use List your business to create a provider account, add a service with photos and packages, then respond to quotes and orders from your dashboard.
What does Verified mean?
Verified is earned — Event Karo checks the business before showing the badge. New listings start unverified so the mark stays meaningful.
Who can leave a review?
Only clients with a completed booking on that service. Open quotes and pending requests cannot leave ratings.
